Author Aalia Lanius Accepts Barnes & Noble’s Invitation to Appear in Hurst, Texas
On July 13th, Aalia Lanius will be apart of an author’s event hosted by Barnes & Noble in Hurst, Texas. The invitation to appear came following the success of Lanius’ second book, Jugend, and the success of her past author appearances.
“Any opportunity to share a positive message I consider a blessing,” said Lanius.
Jugend, the German word meaning “youth“, tells a parallel story of two young boys separated by almost 100 years, yet the hate they have for those different than them, specifically Jews and Muslims, remains the same. The historical fiction novel has received rave reviews since its release, as Readers’ Favorite and Amazon customer reviews currently have the novel rated at five stars. Thanks to its ever-relevant subject matter, the reviews for Jugend have ranged from proclamations of the book being one we all need to read to it being recognized as an important book for all ages.
“I desired to write a story that would touch a person’s soul,” explained Lanius. “The appreciation and support Jugend has received means I did.”
The support for Jugend has moved well past online reviews, as Lanius has proven she can attract an audience both online and in-person. Her book signing at NYC’s BookCon’s New Title Showcase on June 1st garnered the most fan attention of the week and left Lanius with an empty table where copies of Jugend once sat.
Any fans of Jugend or Lanius’ first novel, Tough Love, in the Hurst, Texas area, will have the opportunity to meet the author on July 13th at Barnes & Noble from 1 to 5 pm.
