Readers’ Favorite recognizes Jugend by Aalia Lanius as the Bronze Medal winner in its Fiction-Cultural category.

The sophomore novel from Lanius unapologetically addresses hard-hitting and often-avoided subjects like white terrorism, white supremacy, and islamophobia in a story that has been praised by readers who have called it “a gripping novel” and asserted that it should be taught in school settings, due to its strong message against hateful rhetoric through the eyes of young characters.

Jugend currently has a 4.2 out of 5 rating on Goodreads  and a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Amazon Book Reviews.
